Learn How Sinners Can Be Made Right With A Holy God

How Can a Sinner Be Saved?

Titus 3:4-7 But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

As the verse says, God saves sinners according to His mercy, not by our own good deeds.  Doing good deeds can’t cover over our bad deeds.  If we could cover-up our sins, we would have room to boast.  After becoming a Christian, we are commanded to do good works and to become more like Christ.  Good works are a big part of the Christian’s life.  However, the only way that you or I or anyone could or ever will be saved is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-10  For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Throughout my blog postings, I plan to post helpful table tennis articles as well as truths that I have been learning from the Bible.  I hope that you read them and that God works in your heart.  I truly pray that you personally will repent of your sins and trust in Christ as your only means of getting to heaven.
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
The Gospel influences every area of my life - personal, table tennis, family, hobbies.  With God's help, I want to live each moment for Him.
