The Table Tennis Club of Indianapolis welcomed US National Team Coach Samson Dubina over the past weekend for an intense footwork clinic.  Players participated in lecture, drills and physical training for up to twelve hours on July 29th and 30th.   The players were surprised to learn that there are many neglected aspects of footwork, such as:
1.      Understanding Probabilities
2.      Learning to Anticipate

Fun, Active, and Educational

Learn the benefits of keeping score!!!

FUN!!! ACTIVE!!! EDUCATIONAL!!!

From the first day at an ITTF Training Course, you will learn that when teaching kids, table tennis must be fun for them (they need to enjoy it!), active (sometimes they have short attention spans), and educational (they need to be learning and improving). For my very young students who are under 6 years old, it is mostly fun and active. For the older students, it because more educational with more emphasis on strokes, footwork, etc…
