Read about a strange phenomenon
Sometimes players will work very hard over the summer training many hours each day. At the end of the summer, they play a tournament and are very disappointed with their results. They might have spent thousands of dollars traveling to China, hiring pro coaches, and giving great effort… but still they didn’t have the expected results.
Yet other times, players will take a break for a few weeks and practice very little. Without expecting much from their first tournament of the season, these players are sometimes surprised with amazing results!

Fitness For Moms!
Back in the day, Amanda Graber was a nationally ranked table tennis athlete who represented the US at the World University Championships. After getting married and having 5 kids, Amanda took a decade away from the sport to focus on family and homeschooling. Amanda just recently returned to the competition scene as a way of getting fit and spending time with her kids who are now playing. They train regularly at the Samson Dubina Table Tennis Academy, play at home with each other, and even train with their Newgy robot in the basement.
