10 Unique Distinctions of the Ohio Mega Camps

#1 Details
Our coaches our extremely detailed.  We won’t just tell you, “Placement is important.”  We will structure drills and game-situations that directly improve your placement.  We won’t just tell you, “You need more spin.”  We will specifically help improve your technique, timing, and feeling to get more spin.  We won’t just tell you, “You need to move.”  We will teach you how to move based on the quality and placement of your hit, the timing of your opponent, racket angle of your opponent, and the incoming ball.  We will be structuring specific drills based on the personal needs of your game.

#2 4:1 Ratio
We have approximately 1 coach/training partner per 4 tables to ensure that each player gets plenty of individual attention through the training sessions.

#3 Structure
These camps have been detailed months before with progressive drills that link back to the themes of the camp.  The coaches work together to help you master the basics and yet personalize the details based on your specific needs.

#4 FREE Lectures
In addition to the 5-6 hours/day on the table, there will be optional free lectures giving more details to the designated topics.  During the lecture, there will also be Q&A sessions with coach Samson and the other experts.

#5 Specifics
The Samson Dubina Table Tennis Academy feels that knowledge is to be shared, not horded.  That is the reason we have published over 400 FREE coaching articles and 500 FREE videos.  Many of these articles and videos are general information and apply to a wide range of players.  However, when you come to the Ohio Mega Camps, you get SPECIFIC expert advice that applies specifically to your playing style, strengths, weaknesses, and game patterns.  You will have a notebook beside the table, writing down the details.

#6 Facility
Our camps are showcased in state-of-the-art facilities.  For the June 4-7 and June 12-15 camps, we will be in the Alumni Arena at Walsh University.  For the July 18-21 camp, we will be at the Shaw JCC.  Both of these facilities have excellent air conditioning, 700 lux lighting, wood floors, high ceiling, free wifi, free parking, and spectator seating for your family and friends to watch you train and compete.

#7 Cost
For approximately $12/hour, you are getting the best possible training available – an excellent team of coaches/trainers in an awesome facility with spacious court.

#8 Care
We will care for you throughout your stay – everything from picking you up from the airport, to feeding your breakfast, to answering all of your deep tt questions.  The coaches/training partners are here to serve you.

#9 More Than a Camp
If you would like to join us for a week or a month or even a year, the Samson Dubina Table Tennis Academy welcomes you.  We offer private lessons, group lessons, leagues, and open club play.  Please let us know how we can accommodate you best during your say hear in Akron, Ohio.

#10 Follow-Up
At the conclusion of the camp, you will receive notes about what you learned and training videos to help you remember what you learned.  We know that application is the key, and we want you to apply your new skills and continue making progress, even after the camp!
